Colson Baker, or Machine Gun Kelly, is well-known for his distinctive style of rapping. Baker was born to an English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A. On April 22 in 1991. His parents were missionaries and throughout his childhood, they traveled extensively with them. James Colson Baker battled depression and joblessness, and his mom Sonia Alane dumped him at age 9. Baker was moved to Denver along with his father, and lived there for some time. Baker was subject to bullying since he lived in poverty by other children. In sixth grade, Baker began to listen to hip-hop. Colson Baker, a.k.a in the form of Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. The songs he composed are known as a blend of modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Baker made four mixtapes in the period before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. Then in the latter half of 2011, this Cleveland artist became an international star when he changed from self-releasing his mixtapes, to working for reputed record labels. His career took off immediately, and all of his albums reaching the top 10 of charts.
