American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and had a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira in the initial season of on FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in NBC's This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when she and her mother relocated to California. went through a few different places before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in acting, singing, and photography at the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue her acting career.
